The most important thing to remember on your first date is that its about getting to know each other. Communication is key so for this reason we would not recommend the cinema (a well known first date venu) as the location of your first date.

Good examples for a first date are:-

• Meeting for lunch or a coffee would be a good starting point for your first meeting in person.
• Enjoy a relaxing walk together (if trust has been established) on the beach, in the park, or at any popular walking sites in your locaility.
• Going for a trip to the zoo would give you plenty of things to talk about whilst having the safety and security of being in a public place if meeting your date for the first time.
• Does your local park have free concerts or perhaps another local venue is having a free event. It's free and will give you the opportunity to discuss musical tastes and move onto other topics in a relaxed enviroment.
